Walk towards the Roundabout pub - listen out for the road on your left as you head right.

As you head up North Hill, the texture of the pavement changes. Mirabelle really likes the old Plymouth limestone pavements, but they can be quite slippery in the rain, so be careful.

Stop at the crossing to the university campus on your left. Mirabelle can tell where it is by the sound of the traffic and the tactile paving. Make sure you stand on it to see what it feels like.

Press the button at the lights, then feel around underneath for a small cone. When the light to cross is green, the cone will spin. Be careful, because sometimes they aren't working, so Mirabelle listens out for the traffic on the right.

If the cone isn't working, you can also ask someone to help you across the road.

The louvres across the traffic light signs are there to make sure the light can't be seen too far away, because that would confuse drivers. It makes it a bit difficult for Mirabelle to see the sign, so you may have to ask someone to tell you when it's green.

When you get to the other side of the road, turn left and walk along the ramp to the entrance of the Levinsky Gallery. Mirabelle uses the handrail to guide her - listen out for the traffic on your left so you know where the road is. You can also walk a little faster in areas where the pavement is smooth and level.
